Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: November 3, 2026 Last Updated: November 3, 2026
By reading, commenting on, or otherwise using PsychosocialPhilosopher.com (the "Blog"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the Blog.
1. Who Runs This Blog
The Blog is written by Eric Leo and operated by Lyceum Recordz LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. In these Terms, "I," "me," and "my" refer to Lyceum Recordz LLC, and "you" refers to anyone using the Blog.
2. Educational Content, Not Professional Advice
The Blog offers sociological, psychological, and philosophical analysis for educational and informational purposes. Nothing here is medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Reading the Blog or contacting me does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, or advisor relationship.
For advice about your own situation, please talk to a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 in the United States, or contact your local emergency services.
3. Opinion and Commentary
Many posts contain my opinions, interpretations, and arguments about history, politics, religion, public figures, and institutions. Those posts are commentary, and you should read them that way. Posts also discuss my own experiences and beliefs, which are not universal claims about anyone else's life. You are encouraged to question my conclusions and come to your own.
4. Accuracy
I work to keep my posts historically and scientifically accurate, but I don't guarantee that everything is complete, current, or free of error. Research changes, and older posts may not reflect the latest findings. If you find a mistake, please tell me using the contact information below.
Images on the Blog are illustrative. Some are stock images, some are public domain, and some are created with AI tools, so they should not be taken as photographs or records of real events unless a post says so.
5. Age Requirement
The Blog discusses mature subjects, including war, violence, racism, religion, prisons, and mental illness. You must be at least 16 years old to comment, subscribe, or send me personal information.
6. Copyright and How You May Use My Content
The posts, text, graphics, and other original material on the Blog are owned by or licensed to Lyceum Recordz LLC and are protected by copyright and other laws. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved.
You may:
- Read the Blog and print or save posts for personal, non-commercial use.
- Share links to posts.
- Quote short excerpts for commentary, criticism, teaching, or research, as long as you credit Eric Leo and link to the original post.
You may not, without my written permission:
- Republish, sell, or distribute full posts or substantial portions of them.
- Create and publish translations or adaptations of my posts.
- Remove copyright or attribution notices.
- Scrape or bulk-download the Blog, or use its content to train or develop artificial intelligence models or datasets.
Names, books, and other works by third parties that are discussed on the Blog belong to their respective owners. Mentioning them does not imply any endorsement or affiliation.
7. Comments and Other Submissions
Comments are handled through Blogger, so Google's terms and policies also apply when you use its commenting tools. You are responsible for what you post, and comments reflect the views of the people who write them, not mine.
By submitting a comment or other material, you confirm that you have the right to share it. You also give Lyceum Recordz LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute it in connection with the Blog. You keep ownership of what you wrote.
Disagreement is welcome here, including disagreement with me. Please do not post anything that:
- Threatens, harasses, or promotes violence against anyone.
- Attacks people based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or national origin.
- Is defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise unlawful.
- Shares another person's private information without permission.
- Infringes someone else's copyright or other rights.
- Is spam, advertising, or an attempt to spread malicious links.
I may review, edit, refuse, or remove any comment at any time and for any reason. I am not obligated to monitor comments or keep them published.
8. Copyright Complaints
If you believe material on the Blog infringes your copyright, email contact@fiense.com with:
- Your name and contact information.
- A description of the copyrighted work.
- The link to the material you believe is infringing.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
I will review complete notices and remove or disable access to material when appropriate. Knowingly false claims of infringement may create legal liability.
9. Links, Promotions, and Other Websites
The Blog promotes my own books, music, websites, and the Helm 108 community on Skool, so you should assume that I have a financial interest in those products and services. If a post or page ever includes advertising, a sponsorship, or an affiliate link, I may earn money from it at no added cost to you.
The Blog also links to websites and platforms I don't control, such as Amazon, Skool, YouTube, and Google. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and any purchase or membership you make through them is between you and that seller or platform. I am not responsible for third-party content, products, or services.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Blog to break any law, interfere with its operation or security, try to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, or impersonate anyone. I may block access or remove content if I believe these Terms have been violated.
11. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected and used. It is part of these Terms.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BLOG AND ALL OF ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THIS INCLUDES ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. I DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE BLOG WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LYCEUM RECORDZ LLC AND ITS MEMBER, ERIC LEO, WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE BLOG OR YOUR RELIANCE ON ITS CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE BLOG WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
You are responsible for the decisions you make based on what you read here. Some places do not allow certain limits on liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold harmless Lyceum Recordz LLC and its member, Eric Leo, from any claims, losses, and reasonable legal fees that result from your comments or other submissions, your misuse of the Blog, or your violation of these Terms.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any lawsuit about the Blog or these Terms must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you consent to those courts' jurisdiction. If you live outside the United States, this section does not remove any mandatory consumer rights your local law gives you.
16. Changes to These Terms or the Blog
I may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Blog after an update means you accept the new version. I may also change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Blog at any time.
17. General Terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and me about your use of the Blog. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. My failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms, but I may transfer mine, including to a successor to the Blog.
18. Contact
